Expression is the starting point
Nabtap protects lawful expression, including opinions that are unpopular, critical or uncomfortable. Disagreement is not abuse. We intervene when conduct creates a credible risk of harm, denies others the ability to participate, or undermines the integrity of the network.
Violence and dangerous conduct
- No credible threats, incitement, instructions for violent wrongdoing or celebration of recent real-world attacks.
- No promotion or operational support for violent extremist or criminal organizations.
- Documentary, educational and counterspeech context may be allowed when the purpose is clear.
Harassment and privacy
- No targeted harassment, sexual harassment, malicious exposure of private information or coordinated intimidation.
- Criticism of ideas, institutions, public actions and professional work is generally allowed, even when sharp.
- We give stronger protection to private individuals and people facing heightened risk.
Exploitation and sexual safety
- Any sexual exploitation or sexual content involving minors is prohibited and may be reported to relevant authorities.
- No non-consensual intimate imagery, sextortion, grooming, trafficking or offers to buy or sell sexual services where prohibited.
- Adult nudity or sexual content may be removed, age-restricted or excluded from recommendations depending on context and local law.
Authenticity and platform integrity
- No impersonation intended to deceive, scams, phishing, coordinated inauthentic behaviour or artificial engagement schemes.
- Parody, commentary and fan accounts are allowed when their nature is clear.
- Synthetic or materially altered media may require disclosure when it could mislead people about matters of public importance.
Regulated and illegal activity
Content that facilitates fraud, trafficking, illegal weapons sales, controlled-drug sales or other serious unlawful activity is prohibited. Discussion, recovery support, journalism and policy debate may remain when they do not facilitate wrongdoing.
How enforcement works
Possible outcomes include no action, warning labels, reduced recommendations, removal, feature limits, account restrictions or suspension. We distinguish what may remain on Nabtap from what is eligible for broad recommendation. Eligible decisions can be appealed.
