Creators can face impersonation, coordinated harassment, account-takeover attempts and fraudulent brand offers. Separate public contact details from recovery credentials and use two-factor authentication.

Harassment waves

• Tighten reply, mention and message controls temporarily.
• Mute recurring phrases and block organizers of targeted abuse.
• Document credible threats and report the specific content.
• Avoid publishing private information while responding publicly.

Impersonation and rights

Report accounts that deceive people about identity or affiliation. Use the copyright process only for work you own or represent; criticism, parody and lawful reuse are not automatically infringement.

Commercial scams

Verify brand offers outside the original message, examine the sender’s full address and never pay a fee to receive a sponsorship. Treat files and login links from new contacts as untrusted.
