Live moves quickly
The same Community Guidelines apply to live video, comments and guests. Hosts are responsible for what they choose to broadcast and should plan for privacy, location and guest consent before going live.
Host controls
- Limit who can comment or join.
- Remove, mute, block or report disruptive viewers.
- End the broadcast if the situation becomes unsafe.
- Avoid showing documents, addresses, screens or people who have not consented.
High-risk events
Do not livestream instructions for violence, exploitation or other serious wrongdoing. Documentary coverage can be important, but do not interfere with emergency responders or reveal a victim’s identity or safe location.
