Who Nabtap is for

Nabtap is a social network for people who meet the minimum age in the Terms of Service. You must be at least 16 in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and any country where Nabtap sets 16 as the minimum. Elsewhere, you must be at least 13 and old enough to use the service under local law.

Nabtap is not designed for children below the applicable minimum age. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review the Terms of Service and this page with you. Paid creator features require you to be 18 or to use an approved guardian arrangement.

What people can do on Nabtap

  • Publish and discover posts, photos, video, stories and live broadcasts.
  • Take part in public replies, communities and private messages.
  • Follow creators, businesses and other accounts, and receive recommendations beyond followed accounts.
  • Use shops, offers, gifts, subscriptions or other paid features where they are available and the account is eligible.

Content and contact considerations

Most content on Nabtap is created by users. A person may encounter strong language, mature themes, sensitive news, discussions or depictions of violence, substance use or sexuality, and commercial content. Content that breaks our rules is not permitted, but it may be visible before it is detected, reported or reviewed.

Public accounts and content can attract replies, mentions and messages from people the account holder does not know. Offers, external links and claims made by users or businesses should be assessed carefully. A verification badge confirms the identity category described by Nabtap; it is not an endorsement of every claim, product or message from that account.

Protections and controls

  • Date of birth and country information help apply minimum-age rules and age-appropriate defaults.
  • Eligible younger users receive stronger privacy, contact, discoverability, advertising and commercial-feature protections where supported.
  • People can report content, accounts, messages, advertisements and live broadcasts, and can block, mute or restrict accounts.
  • Interaction settings can limit replies, mentions, tags, messages, quotes and reposts. Sensitive content may be labelled, age-restricted, excluded from recommendations or removed.

Guidance for parents and guardians

  • Review whether the young person meets the minimum age for their country.
  • Discuss what they publish, who can contact them and how public content can be copied or reshared.
  • Review privacy, message and interaction settings together, and explain how to block and report.
  • Treat requests for money, identity documents, passwords, authentication codes or intimate images as warning signs.

Store ratings and local rules

An app store may assign Nabtap an age rating based on its own questionnaire, rules and region. That store rating can be higher than Nabtap’s account minimum and controls access through that store. Local law may also require a higher age, parental consent or additional restrictions.

This page is a suitability summary. The Terms of Service set account eligibility, the Community Guidelines govern content and conduct, and the Youth Privacy Notice explains how Nabtap handles information relating to eligible users under 18.

Changes to this document

We may update this document to reflect changes to Nabtap, the law or the way we protect the community. When a change is material, we will provide notice appropriate to its significance and request fresh acceptance where required.
